Inside the Inflameless Living Community we move to our second week of our MAY CHALLENGE: Dealing with Insulin Resistance.
Last week we talked about:
🟢What is insulin?
🟢Self-diagnosed quiz to find out if you are insulin resistant or not.
🟢How to do we diagnose the Insulin Resistance through lab works?
This week we will start to talk about: steps we have to take to deal with the insulin resistance.
What is Insulin?
Think of insulin as your body’s primary anabolic hormone—its main job is to build tissue and store energy.
Origin: It is produced in the Beta Cells of your pancreas.
Structure: A peptide hormone made of 51 amino acids.
The "Key": It acts as a cellular key, unlocking your cell membranes to let glucose (sugar) enter from your bloodstream.
Proper insulin function ensures Vitality. When this system is balanced, we prevent metabolic stress and systemic inflammation. Our goal is to maintain blood glucose within a tight, healthy range of 70–100 mg/dL.
So we will have the Live Call on Wednesday at 20.30 (UK TIME) to start talking about the steps we have to take.
